Conifer Collection Master Plan
The Bartlett Arboretum and Garden is a 93-acre arboretum with several distinct natural habitats including woodlands, wetlands, meadows, and informal gardens. In 1913, Francis A. Bartlett — a well known dendrologist and founder of the internationally known F.A. Bartlett Tree Expert Company — acquired the property as his home and laboratory. Over the ensuing years this homestead evolved into an arboretum.
Recently, a donation of a two-acre parcel presented the opportunity to expand the conifer collection. KZLA is working with the arboretum to develop a master plan for the new conifer collection and restoration of the existing conifer collection.
