The Esplanade of one of Boston's iconic parks enjoyed by millions of people each year.  Much of the landscape character seen today is a product of landscape architect Arthur Shurcliff's vision.  This mature or overly-mature landscape is now at a turning point where tree succession and long term management of the collection of trees is important for its sustainability.  KZLA was hired to develop a tree management and succession plan taking into account the historic design, incredible use, and climate change.
